This trailer is based on Donald L. Miller’s book and penned by John Orloff, “Masters of the Air” which chronicles the intense ordeals of the 100th Bomb Group, the “Bloody Hundredth,” during hazardous bombing missions over Nazi Germany. The series examines the challenges they faced, such as freezing conditions and combat fears at 25,000 feet. “Masters of Air” also delves into the emotional toll on these young men as they contributed to dismantling Hitler’s Third Reich. Some were captured or killed, others returned home, but the collective toll these brave young men faced in a time of turmoil is a central theme in the series. Members of the cast are Callum Turner, Austin Butler, David Shields, Anthony Boyle, Ben Radcliffe, and more directed by Cary Joji Fukunga, Dee Rees, Timothy Van Patten, Anna Boden, and Ryan Fleck.
