The Last Voyage of the Demeter” is a chilling tale that draws from a single chapter in Bram Stoker’s iconic novel, Dracula. It recounts the harrowing experience of the merchant ship Demeter, commissioned to transport mysterious cargo – fifty unmarked wooden crates – from Carpathia to London. The movie features Corey Hawkins as Clemens, a doctor who joins the Demeter crew, Aisling Franciosi as an unwitting stowaway, Liam Cunningham as the ship’s captain, and David Dastmalchian as the Demeter’s first mate.
