In “The Holdovers” movie clip, Star actor Paul Giamatti explains how the world works to one of his students.

“The Holdovers” movie revolves around Paul Hunham, portrayed by actor Paul Giamatti, a disliked teacher with no plans for the Christmas holiday. He finds himself stuck at school, where he must supervise his students during the break. Another student, Angus, played by actor Dominic Sessa, also lacks a family to spend the winter holidays with and remains at the school. As they spend time together, an unexpected friendship blossoms, as shown in the trailer. The film features a cast including Paul Giamatti, Dominic Sessa, Carrie Preston, Michael Provost, Tate Donovan, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Gillian Vigman, and others alongside director Alexander Payne.
